To Our Valued Customers,

We wanted to share a brief update regarding our lab operations.

Our Lab Manager, Rachel, is currently recovering from a serious leg infection. We are thankful that she is on the mend, but her recovery will take a little time. Rachel handles everything that takes place after film is developed, including scanning, packaging, uploading images to Google Drive, and shipping completed orders. Because of this, the lab is currently running behind, and longer delays should be expected for the time being.

We are still accepting new orders and continuing to move work through the lab, but we ask for your patience as we work through this temporary slowdown. At this time, customers should expect our normal turnaround times to be extended by an additional two weeks.

This delay will affect fresh film orders the most, since much of the post-processing workflow depends directly on Rachel’s work. Our expired film and specialty rescue-film services are seeing smaller delays, as those are handled primarily by Andrew, the owner. That includes services such as Seattle Film Works, 127, 126, and C-22 / E-4 developing. Current estimated turnaround times for those services are approximately 2 to 3 weeks for Seattle Film Works, and 4 to 8 weeks for most other expired and specialty film types.

We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support during this time. We remain committed to giving every order the care and attention it deserves, and we are doing everything we can to keep the lab moving while Rachel recovers.

Thank you for your understanding and kindness.

Sincerely,
Andrew
